On Thursday, the Jewish Children's Museum in Brooklyn, New York became the latest cultural center to receive a bomb threat. No device was found, as has been the case with the dozens of threats prompting evacuations nationwide since January. "You get threats every time", employee Russell Zukin said.
The building was evacuated while police investigated the text and swept the premises.
A Jewish Community Center in Silicon Valley and a Brooklyn Jewish senior center both received bomb threats.
According to DNAinfo, administrators at the Jewish Children's Museum received an email at about 9:15 a.m. Thursday that claimed three pipe bombs planted inside the center would explode.
The threats, which all turned out to be hoaxes, have targeted Jewish Community Centers (JCCs), Jewish Day Schools, synagogues and other buildings affiliated with Jewish institutions over the past weeks.
Just yesterday, a similar threat was reported at the JCC in West Hartford.

While wiretapping is allowed for criminal investigations and intelligence gatherings, it would be very hard legally to do so. Which is true - at least when it comes to top-level sensitive information gathered by USA intelligence agencies.
The investigation into the bomb threat incident is an ongoing one.
President Trump denounced the desecration of Jewish cemeteries nationwide and threats in his joint address to Congress on February 28.
More than 100 bomb threats have hit JCCs and other Jewish sites across the country since the beginning of the year.
"We're going to provide funding for security and cameras for cultural centers, schools that might be subject to an attack", he said.
Local sources said it is possible the threat was received in response to an article written by Halberstam about illegal immigration, that was published Wednesday in the New York Daily News.
"We need action to stop these threats", Bernstein said. We insist that all relevant federal agencies, including your own, apply all the resources available to identify and bring the perpetrator or perpetrators, who are trying to instill anxiety and fear in communities across the country, to justice.
