In a statement, marking Palestinian Children's Day, the PPC condemned the Israeli violence, including the killing of children at military checkpoints in the occupied West Bank.

Israeli defense officials said Wednesday that military intelligence officers believed government forces were behind the attack. She said that a decontamination point had been set up for victims before taking them to Turkey to receive treatment.
The slain Palestinian was identified by the Palestinian Ministry of Health as Amad Zahir Fathi Ghazal, 17, from Nablus.
