Amiens stadium barrier collapses injuring 29 fans in Ligue 1.

The incident happened when Lille's Fode Ballo-Toure ran towards the section of visiting fans after scoring the opening goal, prompting a surge that caused the barrier to give way.

He told the LCI channel that the s tadium was being refurbished, but insisted the painting and roofing work had nothing to do with the collapse.

Amiens hospital said that 29 people were injured in the collapse.
