National Football League announces full schedule of 2018 London games

12 January 2018

The Patriots annihilated the Raiders in Mexico City this season, 33-8.

The £800million venue, which is under construction, will stage the first of three National Football League games in London in October, when the Oakland Raiders host the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, October 14, the sixth week of the regular season.

NFC East winners Philadelphia Eagles will take on their AFC South counterparts and fellow divisional playoff contenders Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley.

Spurs' new home will also have NFL-sized changing rooms, a bespoke media centre and players' tunnel.

The NFL have confirmed ticketing information on the three NFL London 2018 games will be available on January 18. "We will play an additional game at Tottenham in a future season, over and above the planned two per year, to make up for this".

The decision to cut back from four games to three in 2018 was made in part to ensure the new Tottenham Hotspur stadium is in order following its opening.

John Dickerson Likely To Take Charlie Rose Chair On 'CBS This Morning'
Months after Rose's departure from the network, CBS News also fired former political director Steve Chaggaris from the network. Dickerson replaces Charlie Rose, who was sacked in November over sexual misconduct allegations.

It marks the first time the Seahawks, Eagles and Titans have played in London.

Next season's slate across the pond includes matchups between the Seahawks and Raiders, Eagles and Jaguars, and finally, the Titans and Chargers. The dates will be released in mid-late April.

The introduction of the Tottenham stadium is a nod to the league's commitment to the London games, as the venue was actually created to better accommodate the NFL.

From 1994 thru 1999, the Chargers played three preseason games as part of the NFL's American Bowl series: August 1994 vs. Only Jacksonville, who has agreed to play one game a year in London has more with five.

Mayor of London Sadiq Khan said: "London is the global home of the NFL and I am really excited to welcome the world's best American football stars and their thousands of fans from around the globe back to our city". Additionally, fans can sign up at for the latest information about the Chargers trip overseas to London.
