Unlike Jio, which clocked in a strong ARPU of Rs 154 in the December quarter, Airtel and Idea's fell to Rs 123 and Rs 114, respectively, stung by the cut in interconnection usage charges (IUC), which compounded pressures on their voice and data businesses amid continuing price wars. Here are the full details of the recent revision in Airtel plan 199, 448 & plan 509.
As per calculations done by the BoFA-ML analysts, per GB data will cost Rs 2.7 under the Jio's Rs 448 and Rs 498 plans, under which the company will offer 2GB 4GB data per day and speed will reduce after the limit is consumed.
"In our earlier note, we had highlighted our concern that the Rs 149 plan could become the de facto ceiling on monthly spend for customers (thus limiting average revenue per user)". The validity of all the four plans remains the same as earlier. In comparison, Airtel's plan offers 1GB daily 3G/4G data, with validity of 28 days.
Rs 448: With this plan, users get 1GB data per day for 82 days along with unlimited local and STD calls. Unlimited calls include all calls (Local, STD & Roaming Calls). These plans of Airtel comes under the Airtel Prepaid Promise.

Even more annoying is the fact that the new design forces users to tap a preview of the next person's Story before it is shown. It could mean that media outlets etc could essentially embed snapchat stories much like Facebook or Twitter posts.
In addition to the revisions made to the above plans, Reliance Jio has also introduced a new Rs.98 plan for Jio Prime members. The plan as of now offers 28GB data altogether for a time of 28 days with 1GB as the daily FUP.
Reliance Jio's recharge offers have been uncovered in light of Airtel's prepaid plans, which were as of late patched up to give clients 1.4GB data for each day, rather than 1GB every day already. The end result is benefitting to subscribers who are enjoying low tariffs for unlimited data and free voice calls.
To sum up, the new 1.5GB data per day plans are available in the following denominations - Rs 149, Rs 349, Rs 399 and Rs 449. For instance, if data exceeds 2 GB, the user will have to recharge with the additional pack to enjoy the benefits. The validity is 70 days for this offer.
Jio's Prepaid Recharge Plan priced at Rs 449Jio's prepaid recharge plan priced at Rs 449 will offer 136GBs of 4G high speed data for a period of 91 days with a daily cap of 1.5GB daily data. Rest of the benefits are same to all unlimited plans of Airtel.
