In the two-wheeler space, the Auto Expo 2018 saw the official entry of Kawasaki into the Indian market.

This edition is unique as it would witness the participation of 29 two/three wheelers, 15 four wheelers, 9 commercial vehicle manufacturers; unveiling around 101 vehicles.

The large SUV offers three rows of seating and is loaded with typically expected features like three-zone climate control, powered boot lid, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill-Start Assist Control (HSAC), all-round camera view, lane departure warning system and blind spot detection.

Another Indian automaker Mahindra & Mahindra, the only EV seller in the country unveiled showcased a range of electric vehicles (EVs) at Auto Expo 2018. At the heart of this electric vehicle is the efficient "state-of-the-art" direct drive motor developed in partnership with TM4, Canada, one of the most renowned players in the global EV ecosystem.

With a view on the governments vision for all electric vehicles by 2030, Tata Motors is displaying an extended range of six EV products in personal and mass mobility segments.

The company, which has distribution in 23 countries, has joined hands with Laish Madison Motor Werks (LMMW) to bring its retro style motorcycles in the country and has a fully integrated assembly facility in Pune.

The new Tata Tamo Racemo Electric Vehicle looks a lot like the regular sportscar that it's based on. This time, it is here in New Delhi at the Auto Expo 2018.

Ashok Leyland launched its first electric bus, Circuit S, which offers seating facility for around 25 to 35 people.

BMW Motorrad India launched the all-new BMW F750 GS and the all-new BMW F850 GS and will be available as Completely Built-Up Units (CBU) from May 2018 onwards.

India's automobile market is now the world's 5th largest, with almost 3.8 million vehicles sold per year.
