The Cleveland Browns are currently 0-3, after losing to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday with a final score of 24-17 in the Ravens’ favor so in the long run right now, it’s not looking good for the Browns.  There is still time to pick up their pace and get back in the game – and they may actually be able to do this soon.  They finally received some good news today when Jake Delhomme, who practiced on Wednesday inside the indoor facility of the club with trainers by his side, was cleared to practice for the first time since his ankle injury – although his practice session will be limited. The teams heading into the playoffs may not be fully determined just yet but the World Series schedule has been finalized and announced by the MLB and FOX Thursday.  The start times have been revealed, which reveals a shocker – this year’s World Series schedule includes one of the earliest first pitches in almost 25 years since specifically 1987 – Game 6 from the Fall Classic that year.

The earliest first pitch is Game 3, which is scheduled to begin at 6:57 p.m. Eastern Standard Time with the American League hosting on Saturday, October 30.  So, this means that four stadiums could be the host – Rangers Ballpark, Yankee Stadium, Tropicana Field or Target Field – depending  on the teams that advance.  Continue Reading…

New York Jets vs Buffalo Bills Sun. Oct. 3rd 1pm EST

The New York Jets and passionate head coach Rex Ryan came into this season with high hopes of competing for a Super Bowl title, but even though they struggled in Week 1 against Ryan’s former team in the Baltimore Ravens, especially on the offensive side of the football, the Jets have quickly rebounded with two solid wins over the New England Patriots and the Miami Dolphins.

With the two wins in the books in divisional play, the New York Jets just have the Buffalo Bills standing in their way moving forward, but unlike the fight that the Patriots and the Dolphins put up in the last two weeks, Week 4’s matchup against the lowly Bills should be a relatively easy one for Mark Sanchez and company. We went with a trusted name in NFL football betting, Bodog, for this wager. Continue Reading…

Denver Broncos vs Tennessee Titans Sun. Oct. 3rd 1pm EST

The Denver Broncos and the Tennessee Titans are two teams with some promising young players, but still seem to be a few pieces of the puzzle away from being serious forces to be reckoned with in the AFC Conference. Even though these teams have already had some disappointing losses this season, they have played well collectively and could compete for a playoff spot later in the year, but they will need to get this win as it could turn out to be huge at season’s end.

Offensively these teams are pretty even in my opinion, but for different reasons as the Tennessee Titans are one of the best running teams in the league and the Denver Broncos have quickly turned into one of the best passing teams in the NFL. This is a great game for some NFL football betting. Continue Reading…

Early this month, the Colorado Rockies actually possibly had a chance to claim their very first National League West title but that possibility is out the door now.  They are going into tonight’s game in hopes that they can at least keep themselves in the playoffs.

Most oddsmakers currently have the Rockies listed as favorites for the Tuesday night game.  They are currently in third place for the wild-card race.  The Rockies are four games behind the San Diego Padres and four and a half games behind the Atlanta Braves. Continue Reading…

Along with many other NHL teams, the New York Rangers took a step forward in trimming their active roster today.  They have officially trimmed 11 of their players from their training camp.  Of these 11 was Wade Redden who will move on after clearing waivers to be on the AHL and whose wife just recently gave birth to their first child less than a week ago.

Should Redden decide to not report to Hartford, he will forfeit his the rest of his six-year contract with the Rangers and will then become an unrestricted free agent.  Three more that were cut and assigned with Wade Redden to report to Hartford were Dale Weise, Mats Zuccarello and Evgeny Grachev. The Atlanta Braves will be playing at home this week for the final week of the 2010 MLB season and may just be what they need in order to bounce back from their awful road trip and gain success and be able to capture the National League wild card win.  The Braves are currently just a half a game behind the San Diego Padres to win the wild card despite losing five of the last six games on their recent road trip, which was a disaster with the New York Giants leading.

The Braves will hand over the ball to right-handed pitcher Tommy Hanson who will take the mound as the starting pitcher Monday night.  Hanson is currently 10-11 with an ERA of 3.51 for the season.  This season against the Marlins, he is 2-1 although his last start against Florida on August 27 resulted in a loss at which time he allowed seven runs and four home runs during five innings. San Francisco 49ers vs Kansas City Chiefs Sun. Sept. 26th 1pm EST

The San Francisco 49ers came into this NFL regular season with high hopes of getting back on top the NFC West division as they were looking to take advantage of both the Arizona Cardinals and the Seattle Seahawks beginning a rebuilding process, but even though they were able to give the defending Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints a run for their money on Monday Night Football recently, they have still gotten off to a disappointing start to the season with two straight losses. Green Bay Packers vs Chicago Bears Mon. Sept. 27th 8:30pm EST

The Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bears has always been a heated division rivalry as both teams literally hate each other, but even though many people didn’t think that Jay Cutler and company could give Aaron Rodgers squad a challenge heading into this NFL regular season, the Bears are coming off two consecutive wins and will be looking to give the Packers problems on both sides of the football. What a great week of NFL football betting.

This Monday Night Football matchup between two high-powered offenses and two lockdown defenses will be epic to say the least as both teams will be fighting for first place in the NFC North division. Continue Reading…
