New England Patriots @ Chicago Bears Sun. Dec. 12th 2010 4:15pm EST
Last week on Monday Night Football, the New England Patriots cemented themselves as arguably the best team in the NFL this season as they were able to do absolutely destroy their division rivals in the New York Jets with a 45-3 blowout in front of their devoted fans at Gillette Stadium.
Even though the win over the New York Jets was huge to say the least as now the New England Patriots sit atop the AFC East division and are considered to be arguably the best team in the league, NFL MVP candidate quarterback Tom Brady will have his work cut out for them once again this week against one of the top defenses in the league in the Chicago Bears. Baltimore Ravens @ Houston Texans Mon. Dec. 13th 2010 8:30pm EST
Last week the Baltimore Ravens were hoping to basically wrap up the AFC North division title with a win over the division rival Pittsburgh Steelers, but even though they seemed to have the game in hand throughout the majority of the contest, in the end Ben Roethlisberger and company were able to come out on top with the win and a first place standing within the division.
Now that the Baltimore Ravens are sitting in second place in their division, Joe Flacco and company will have to step it up from here on out in order to get back into contention for the AFC North division title and be playoff bound at season’s end. We like Bodog Sportsbook odds for this NFL football betting matchup.
Despite having an uphill battle from here on out, the Ravens will head into this Monday Night Football showdown with the clear advantage to get the win over the Houston Texans. Continue Reading…
New York Giants @ Minnesota Vikings Sun. Dec. 12th 2010 1pm EST
Before this NFL regular season began, the New York Giants were thought to be a good team in the NFC Conference, but not a great team. The Dallas Cowboys were considered to be the team to beat in the NFC East division which would force the New York Giants to compete for the NFC Wildcard, but things haven’t exactly gone the way most people predicted.
Fortunately for Eli Manning company, that hasn’t been the case as the Dallas Cowboys have had a very disappointing season which has left the NFC East division title up to the Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Giants. Continue Reading…
Cincinnati Bengals @ Pittsburgh Steelers Sun. Dec. 12th 2010 1pm EST
The Cincinnati Bengals may be the defending AFC North division champions this season, but they definitely haven’t played like as they only have two wins coming into this Week 14 showdown with the hated division rival Pittsburgh Steelers.
As for the Pittsburgh Steelers on the other hand, they are making up for their disappointing season last year as they only lost three games this season and are coming off perhaps their biggest win of the year against the division rival Baltimore Ravens. Depending on the type of NFL football betting your doing, Bodog has some great lines on this game. Continue Reading…
Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Washington Redskins Sun. Dec. 12th 2010 1pm EST
Before this NFL regular season even began, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were considered to be one of the worst teams in the league once again as they still had a young core of players led by an unproven quarterback in Josh Freeman.
Despite no one really expecting much from this young Bucs squad, Tampa Bay has more than exceeded expectations this season as Josh Freeman has turned into a Pro bowl caliber quarterback and lead this team to an impressive 7-5 record heading into Week 14’s matchup against the Washington Redskins. Continue Reading…
Oakland Raiders @ Jacksonville Jaguars Sun. Dec. 12th 2010 1pm EST
The Oakland Raiders are coming off perhaps their most impressive win this one of the regular season as they are able to dominate San Diego Chargers (28-13) for the second time this year and convince their doubters that they are still a force to be reckoned with in the AFC West division. Even though there is still three games left to go in the regular season, the Oakland Raiders are still in the mix for a playoff spot in the AC conference long as they can continue to be on the winning side of football games from here on out. Continue Reading…
St. Louis Rams @ New Orleans Saints Sun. Dec. 12th 2010 4:05pm EST
The defending Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints got off to a rough start this season as they no longer resembled the dominant team they were last season early on, but over the last month and half they have played extremely well with five straight wins coming into Week 14’s matchup with the division-leading St. Louis Rams.
Even though Drew Brees and company have been one of the best teams in the league over the last month or so, they will have their work cut out for them in Week 14 against the frontrunner for rookie of the year in quarterback Sam Bradford and the up and coming St. Louis Rams. Don’t forget, NFL football betting starts tonight, Thursday. Continue Reading…
Green Bay Packers @ Detroit Lions Sun. Dec. 12th 2010 1pm EST
The Green Bay Packers came into this NFL regular season with high hopes of finally being able to dominate the competition in the NFC Conference and make their way to the Super Bowl with perennial Pro Bowl quarterback Aaron Rodgers leading the way, but even though they still might be Super Bowl bound at season’s end, they are trailing the division-leading Chicago Bears in the NFC North and will need every win from here on out.
In Week 14, Mike McCarthy’s squad will head to Detroit to take on the struggling Lions, but even though this lowly team has just two wins on the season, Calvin Johnson and company can put up a lot of points on any given Sunday. Continue Reading…
Philadelphia Eagles @ Dallas Cowboys Sun. Dec. 12th 2010 8:20pm EST
The NFC East division is usually one of the most competitive divisions in the NFL, but this season it seems to be down to a two team race with Michael Vick’s Philadelphia Eagles and Eli Manning’s New York Giants trying to come out on top.
With that being said, every game and win from here on out is crucial for the Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Giants, but despite being one of the best teams in the NFL right now, Andy Reid’s squad will have their work cut out for them in Week 14 against the Dallas Cowboys who have won three out of their last four games. Continue Reading…
Kansas City Chiefs @ San Diego Chargers Sun. Dec. 12th 2010 4:15pm EST
The AFC West division has been pretty up and down all season long as the division lead has bounced around quite a bit since the beginning of the NFL regular season.
After the first few weeks of the regular season, the Kansas City Chiefs looked like the team to beat in the AFC West, but as the year has rolled on, the San Diego Chargers and the Oakland Raiders have proven to be legitimate threats to win the division title as they have come on strong in the second half of the year.
