Atlanta Falcons @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sun. Dec. 5th 2010 4:15pm EST
Over the past few years, the Atlanta Falcons and the defending Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints have absolutely dominated the NFC South division and the season looks to be more the same as the division title winner will almost certainly be one of these two teams, but the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are threatening to change that as they will be sporting a 7-4 record coming into Week 13’s matchup with the division-leading Atlanta Falcons.
At this point in time the NFL regular season, the Atlanta Falcons are arguably the best team in the league as they just dominated the competition and after beating the Green Bay Packers last week have proven that they can contend the best of the best in the NFC Conference. Continue Reading…
New Orleans Saints @ Cincinnati Bengals Sun. Dec. 5th 2010 1pm EST
The defending Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints have struggled to get back to form at times during this NFL regular season, but after four straight wins heading into Week 13, I believe Drew Brees and company are back on track and ready to repeat as Super Bowl champs.
Even though the New Orleans Saints can’t wait to get another shot at the division leading Atlanta Falcons in Week 16, they will have to keep winning football games in order to keep up with their division rivals starting with a game against the lowly Cincinnati Bengals. Continue Reading…
Buffalo Bills @ Minnesota Vikings Sun. Dec. 5th 2010 1pm EST
Last week the Minnesota Vikings played their first game in the post Brad Childress era and the results were as predicted as they were able to beat the Washington Redskins, but it wasn’t exactly convincing victory as three-time NFL MVP quarterback Brett Favre failed to throw a touchdown pass and perennial Pro Bowl running back Adrian Peterson went down with a sprained ankle as the team won by just four points 17-13.
In week 13, the Minnesota Vikings will be playing host to one most resilient teams in the NFL today in the Buffalo Bills. Even though the Bills only have two wins on the season, they have been able to give the best teams in the league a run for their money week in and week out. Continue Reading…
Washington Redskins @ New York Giants Sun. Dec. 5th 2010 1pm EST
The Washington Redskins headed into this NFL regular season with high hopes of finally turning the troubled franchise around as they made two big moves in adding two-time Super Bowl champion head coach Mike Shanahan and six-time Pro Bowl quarterback Donovan McNabb, but they will be heading into Week 13 with a disappointing record of 5-6.
Even though it seems like a long shot for the Redskins to make the playoffs this season, Washington will have the opportunity to improve their chances of being playoff bound if they can get a win over the division rival New York Giants this Sunday at New Meadowlands Stadium. The online sportsbooks are loving this game and have the Giants as 7 point favorites, which is to be expected for this NFL football betting matchup. Continue Reading…
Chicago Bears @ Detroit Lions Sun. Dec. 5th 2010 1pm EST
Despite being arguably one of the streakiest teams in the NFL this season, the Chicago Bears have been able to win four straight games, be the only defense in the league to figure out how to stop superstar quarterback Michael Vick and maintain their first place standing in the NFC North division.
As if beating the Philadelphia Eagles last week at Soldier Field wasn’t impressive enough (31-26), quarterback Jay Cutler had arguably his best game as the Chicago Bears starting gunslinger with 247 passing yards, four touchdowns (no interceptions) and finishing with a passer rating of 146.2. Continue Reading…
Oakland Raiders @ San Diego Chargers Sun. Dec. 5th 2010 4:05pm EST
Coming into Week 13, the AFC West division is seemingly up for grabs as the defending division champion San Diego Chargers, division-leading Kansas City Chiefs and the underdog Oakland Raiders all have a chance to win the division at season’s end, but this weekend might be the Raiders’ last chance at contending for the division title as they will go up against a red-hot Chargers team.
Not only are the San Diego Chargers coming off their most impressive win of the season against the Indianapolis Colts, but they have won four straight games and seem to be getting some much needed momentum moving forward as they have gotten back to their winning ways once again. Continue Reading…
Houston Texans @ Philadelphia Eagles Thurs. Dec. 2nd 8:20pm EST
Before they came into their Week 12 matchup with the Chicago Bears, the Philadelphia Eagles were arguably the hottest team in the NFL as they had seemingly unstoppable offense led by NFL MVP candidate quarterback Michael Vick and one of the best defenses in the league to maintain leads.
Despite being the favorite to come out on top in the NFC East division this season, the Eagles were given a bit of a wakeup call in Week 12 as the Bears defense were able to contain Michael Vick and help get their fourth straight win of the season. Continue Reading…
