#1 Green Bay Packers (3-0)

Despite being tested in the first three weeks of the season against the potent offense of the New Orleans Saints in the season opener and then trying to contain the next superstar quarterback in Cam Newton in Week 2, the Green Bay Packers were thought to be a little flawed on defense, but just as good as they were when they lifted the Vince Lombardi trophy last season. Added September 28th, 2011 by Scott

The Buffalo Bills have been the surprise team of the NFL regular season this year as they have gotten off to a perfect 3-0 start and proven to their doubters that they are for real and finally ready to compete for a playoff spot in the AFC Conference. Not only are they ready to compete in the AFC, but they just might be able to get the best of the New England Patriots and the New York Jets in the AFC East division for the first time since the Jim Kelly era in Buffalo. Coming into this NFL regular season, everyone was jumping on the Detroit Lions bandwagon as it was the consensus that Matthew Stafford and company were in for a breakout season and a possible run at the playoffs. Atlanta Falcons @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sun. Sept. 25, 2011 4:15 p.m. EST

Last week the Atlanta Falcons were able to redeem themselves for their devastating loss to the Chicago Bears in Week 1 (30-12) by pulling out an impressive win over the revamped Philadelphia Eagles, 35-31. Even though superstar quarterback Michael Vick was knocked out in the fourth quarter and the Eagles offense fell flat after the injury, the Falcons played very well against a very good defense and showed that they are still a legitimate Super Bowl title contender despite getting off to a rough start right out of the gate in Week 1.
