There is no lack of division rivalries in the NFL and the entertainment factor can be huge, but these heated rivalries get even better when they carry on into the playoffs.
After a thrilling Wild-card weekend which played host to three extremely entertaining football games that came down to the wire in the fourth quarter, the Divisional round is poised to be even better with two games between bitter division rivals.
New York Jets @ New England Patriots
Over the years, the New England Patriots have dominated the division rivalry with the New York Jets, but over the past few seasons things have started to change as the Jets have come into their own with one of the best defenses in the league.
Early in the NFL regular season, the Jets beat the Patriots in convincing fashion, but in their second meeting Tom Brady and company put on a show by lighting up the Jets lockdown defense for 45 points while limiting Mark Sanchez and his offense to just three points.
Needless to say, this win made all sorts of headlines as it convinced many people that the Patriots were the best team in the league and that the Jets still had a lot of work to do, but all that bitterness and bad blood will come to a boiling point this weekend as the Jets will head to Gillette Stadium for one more showdown with the Patriots.

Baltimore Ravens @ Pittsburgh Steelers
The AFC North is arguably one of the most competitive divisions in the NFL year in and year out, but this season was about as competitive as it gets with the Baltimore Ravens and the Pittsburgh Steelers finishing the year with identical records (12-4).
Not only was the division title decided at the end of the NFL regular season, but now these two bitter division rivals will face off one more time this season in the Divisional playoffs with a spot in the AFC Conference championship game going to the winner.
It will be interesting to see which lockdown defense can lead their team to victory as neither one of these teams has any intention of backing down. What a great NFL football betting weekend.
