Dallas Cowboys vs Green Bay Packers Sun. Nov. 7th 2010 8:20pm EST

There was no doubt around the league coming into this NFL regular season that the Dallas Cowboys were going to be the team to beat in the NFC Conference as they had arguably the most potent offense in the league and were able to back up the points on the board with a lockdown defense, but things haven’t gone the way owner Jerry Jones has anticipated as America’s team will come into Week 9 with one win on the season.

Not only have the Dallas Cowboys basically knocked themselves out of playoff contention coming into this week as it will be damn near impossible to come back to clinch a spot in the NFC Conference at this point, but they have also lost their Pro Bowl quarterback Tony Romo for the rest of the season as well and things might just get worse from here on out. Along with Tony Romo being done with a broken clavicle, the Dallas Cowboys have had to go to backup quarterback Jon Kitna and that hasn’t really worked out as the team has gone from bad to worse.

In Week 9, the Dallas Cowboys will be in for another long day as they will have to go up against perennial Pro Bowl quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers who are coming off a big win over one of the best teams in the league in the New York Jets.

As of right now, the Green Bay Packers are big favorites to get the win in Week 9 with a -8 point spread. Even though that is high, I believe they should be able to pull it off as the Dallas Cowboys will be defenseless against Aaron Rodgers and company.
