There are four teams left in contention for trip to the Super Bowl right now, but I believe the their only two teams worthy of going the distance with the New York Jets and the Green Bay Packers being my prediction for the Super Bowl match-up in Arlington, Texas in February.

The Pittsburgh Steelers and the Chicago Bears are two very talented football teams that pride themselves on the defensive side of the football, but in terms of heart, motivation and being considered the underdog throughout the entire playoffs, the Packers and the Jets get the edge in my book.

My prediction for the Super Bowl match-up before the playoffs even got and underway was the New England Patriots going head-to-head against the Philadelphia Eagles. That was about as bad a prediction as I could make as both of those teams were just schooled in their first matchup of the playoffs.

The Patriots came out flat on offense and were dominated by the Jets defense and the Eagles couldn’t get much Michael Vick as the Packers defense came to life. Not only have these two teams losing in their first playoff match-up motivated my prediction, but ironically it’s the two teams they lost to that I believe have what it takes to make it to the big game which will be played at Cowboys Stadium.

The Packers and the Jets will definitely be tested this week though as they are going up against two teams that are very capable of beating them. Ironically enough though, the Packers have beaten the Bears in the regular season and the Jets have also beaten Steelers, but the playoffs is another beast altogether as anyone can come out on top.

So keep your eye on this weekend’s match-ups and odds as it should be entertaining to say the least, but in the end, mark my words the New York Jets will be taking on the Green Bay Packers come Super Bowl Sunday.
