Inter Milan Will Offload €30M Flop This Summer

The likelihood that Inter Milan will sell striker Joaquin Correa this summer is dwindling.

This is according to the Turin-based publication Tuttosport’s print edition from today, as reported by FCInter1908.

Since a while ago, Joaquin Correa has appeared to be a player Inter would aim to get rid of during the summer transfer window.

The Argentine had high expectations when he moved from Lazio in the summer of 2021, but in his two seasons at Inter, he hasn’t had the desired effect.

Injury has significantly reduced Correa’s ability to contribute and perform.

As a result, it appeared that the 28-year-old would be leaving. Where his next club might be, though, is less certain.

There haven’t been any obvious developments that indicate Correa will soon leave the Nerazzurri as of yet.

Joaquin Correa is unlikely to be sold by Inter Milan before the transfer window closes.
According to Tuttosport, Inter’s chances of finding Correa a new club at this time are not good.

The Nerazzurri have covertly looked into potential interest in acquiring the Argentine. However, none of the clubs who have expressed interest have presented any firm offers.

Fenerbahce has so far expressed interest in signing Correa. The player, though, has ruled out the option.

West Ham United and Everton of the Premier League are reportedly interested in signing the Argentine.

And according to rumours, the midfielder would prefer a transfer to another Serie A squad.

Moving to the Saudi Pro League is still a possibility in the interim.

The top flight of the Gulf state has spent a lot of money during the summer recruiting famous players from Europe. Even in less-than-ideal form, they have continued to do so.

Correa would therefore seem to be a reasonable goal. And according to reports, the Saudi team Al-Shabab has expressed interest.

That, however, has never truly manifested as a tangible thing.
