Manchester United XI vs Wolves: Predicted Lineup & Injury Update

Rasmus Hojlund will not be available for Manchester United’s Premier League opener against Wolves tonight due to one of six injury concerns.
The £72 million striker, who arrived from Atalanta with a minor back issue, has too little time to recover before the game.
Hojlund, 20, started working out with his new club on Wednesday in an effort to increase his level of fitness in the following days.
Erik ten Hag stated before the game that we needed to teach him since “he had a small issue and he’s not on the levels where our players are right now.” It’s hard to predict the prognosis. We are optimistic and self-assured.
In his absence, Alejandro Garnacho will likely start on the left wing against Wolves after a strong preseason showing against Lens. In his place, Marcus Rashford will start up front.
In certain exhibition games, Jadon Sancho played as a false nine, but he will have to be content with a berth on the bench.
Mason Mount appears to have replaced Christian Eriksen in the lineup, as the £65 million acquisition seeks to pair Casemiro in midfield.
At right-back, Diogo Dalot ought to take precedence over Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and Andre Onana will make his professional debut in net. Harry Maguire is “of course” available, according to Ten Hag, despite rumours that a £30 million transfer to West Ham is about to happen.
Along with unavailable young players Kobbie Mainoo and Amad Diallo, United will be missing Tyrell Malacia, Dean Henderson, and Tom Heaton. Anthony Martial, though, is healthy despite missing the entire preseason due to a hamstring issue.
Ten Hag said, “Malacia will take some time, same as Amad and Kobbie, they are impact injuries, all the others like Henderson, Hojlund, quite short notice, but that is the definition of it, will take a few weeks.”
Predicted Man Utd XI: Onana; Dalot, Varane, Martinez, Shaw; Casemiro, Mount; Antony, Fernandes, Garnacho; Rashford
Injuries: Martial, Malacia, Amad, Mainoo, Hojlund, Henderson
