Donovan McNabb and Terrell Owens – really?  The two played together on the Philadelphia Eagles and let us just say things were not the prettiest at all times.  It was definitely not one of those bromances that you like to see and hear about.

However, apparently, McNabb – now part of the Washington Redskins after leaving the Eagles – is supporting the return of Owens.  He has been trying to encourage the coaching staff of the Redskins to sign on Terrell Owens, as he is a free agent this year.  Although his support and encouragement was heard, Coach Mike Shanahan has talked with ESPN and the team is not necessarily exploring the concept of signing Terrell Owens to the Redskins.  The Eagles are looking to enhance their wide receiver position, but they plan to keep T.O. out of the picture if at all possible.

McNabb and Owens both played for the eagles between 2004 and 2005 at which time they helped the Eagles team make it to the Super Bowl XXIX.  Although during this time with the Eagles, they were not exactly a match made in heaven, they have supposedly since mended their relationship.

As for Owens, he has not had much uproar since finding out in March that the Bills would not be resigning him.  He has met with the Bengals, but has otherwise laid low and is apparently keeping his options very open.

There has been a lot of drama between McNabb and T.O. when they were both part of the Philadelphia Eagles.  Is it a good idea to even consider bringing Owens to the same team that McNabb is playing on?  Is it a death wish?  What do you guys think?
