Miami Dolphins @ Oakland Raiders Sun. Nov. 28th 2010 4:05pm EST
The Oakland Raiders have been arguably the biggest surprise team in the NFL this season as they have seemingly defied the odds and proven their doubters wrong by winning five games already this year, but did get a bit of a wakeup call in Week 11 after the defensive minded Pittsburgh Steelers destroyed this up and coming team in blowout fashion with a 35-3 victory.
Obviously, not many people expected the Raiders to come out on top against the best run defense in the league, but they were thought to put up a bit more of a fight and score much more than just three points against the Steelers.
Even though the Week 11 loss was a disappointment to say the least, the Oakland Raiders will have a chance to redeem themselves in Week 12 as they will be defending their home field against the Miami Dolphins.
Despite looking like a promising team at times this season, the Miami Dolphins have really struggled to play consistently well this year as they have lost five of their last eight games. One thing that has made it even more difficult for the Dolphins moving forward is the injury problems at the quarterback position as they have lost Chad Pennington (shoulder) for the season and will be without Chad Henne (knee) once again this week.
As of right now, I believe the Oakland Raiders are the clear favorites to come out on top in this matchup as they are without a doubt the better team on both sides of the football. The only thing standing between the Raiders and their sixth win of the season is the Dolphins much improved defense, but that shouldn’t stop them from winning this matchup.
Odds and lines for this matchup by leading online sportsbooks have not been set, we will update this once the odds are there:
