Chicago Bears @ Minnesota Vikings Mon. Dec. 20th 2010 8:30pm EST
The Chicago Bears and the Minnesota Vikings are two teams in the NFC North division that have one hell of a bitter division rivalry, but unlike earlier in the season when the Vikings were in playoff contention or last year when Brett Favre was having an MVP caliber season, this time around Jay Cutler and company will come in as the better team on both sides of the football.
There is no question the Chicago Bears are arguably one of the best defensive teams in the league this season, but it has taken a while for them to get their offense going to Jay Cutler is still working out the kinks under center. We like Bodog for this NFL football betting matchup wagers.
Despite coming off one of the worst losses of the season to the New England Patriots, the Chicago Bears will be extremely confident coming into this NFC North showdown as they will be playing outside in the bitterly cold weather in which will turn this matchup into a game won on the defensive end.
With that being said and the fact that both Brett Favre (shoulder) and backup quarterback Tarvaris Jackson (out for the season) will most likely not be playing in this game, this NFC North battle will almost certainly be a blowout in my opinion as the Minnesota Vikings stand no chance with rookie quarterback Joe Webb leading the way.
With this win, the Chicago Bears will basically wrap up the NFC North division and be playoff bound as the Green Bay Packers will most likely fall to the New England Patriots, but a loss for the Minnesota Vikings will be just another disappointment for a season that has been an absolute disaster for Brett Favre and company.
