New York Jets vs Buffalo Bills Sun. Oct. 3rd 1pm EST
The New York Jets and passionate head coach Rex Ryan came into this season with high hopes of competing for a Super Bowl title, but even though they struggled in Week 1 against Ryan’s former team in the Baltimore Ravens, especially on the offensive side of the football, the Jets have quickly rebounded with two solid wins over the New England Patriots and the Miami Dolphins.
With the two wins in the books in divisional play, the New York Jets just have the Buffalo Bills standing in their way moving forward, but unlike the fight that the Patriots and the Dolphins put up in the last two weeks, Week 4’s matchup against the lowly Bills should be a relatively easy one for Mark Sanchez and company. We went with a trusted name in NFL football betting, Bodog, for this wager.
Even though the Buffalo Bills showed signs of life last week by putting up 30 points in the loss to the New England Patriots, C.J. Spiller and company will have their work cut out for them in Week 4 as the New York Jets defense will almost certainly hold the Bills offense to field goal attempts all game long.
There is no doubt that the New York Jets defense is amongst the best in the league, but it has been their offense that has made headlines over the past two weeks as second-year quarterback Mark Sanchez has really started to come into his own with as he has thrown three touchdowns in both of the last two games.
Not only was Sanchez impressive against the Patriots and Dolphins, but he has done a really good job of making good decisions and the biggest indicator has been no interceptions in the first three games.
Hopefully, for the Jets sake, the good play from Sanchez will continue in Week 4 and as of right now, I believe that is exactly what will happen as New York will cruise to their third win of the season.
