Indianapolis Colts (14-2)

Peyton Manning and company had a season to remember last year as they won 14 straight games in the regular season and made it all the way to the Super Bowl to face off against an equally dominant team in the New Orleans Saints.

Even though the Colts were favored to come out on top and win their second Super Bowl title in the Manning era, the Saints were able to get the best of them and go one to win their first Super Bowl in franchise history.

Heading into this season, the Colts are favored to win it all as they will have relatively the same team intact and motivated to make it to Arlington, Texas in February. Bodog, one of the leading USA online sportsbooks has the Colts at -200 to win the Division.

Houston Texans (9-7)

Over the past two years or so, the Houston Texans have gone from one of the worst teams in the league to a possible playoff contender in the AFC Conference, but despite having the best air attack in the league last season, Matt Schaub and company came just short of making it into the playoffs for the first time in franchise history.

This year the Texans will be looking to have another breakout season with a playoff berth on the horizon. As long as quarterback Matt Schaub and wide receiver Andre Johnson stay healthy throughout the season, I believe they will make it to the playoffs for the first time in their eight year existence.

Tennessee Titans (8-8)

Last season started out with six straight losses for the Tennessee Titans and even though they were Super Bowl title contender heading into the year that quickly changed as there seemed to be no hope for the struggling NFL franchise.

Fortunately, head coach Jeff Fisher was able to turn things around as he benched veteran quarterback Kerry Collins in favor of Vince Young and the Titans immediately got back to form by winning eight of the last ten games of the season.

Along with Young becoming the player of old, the Titans witnessed Chris Johnson turn into arguably the best running back in the league by rushing for just over 2,000 yards.

This year the Titans hope to start where they left off and instantly get back to their winning ways, but they will have their work cut out from them as clinching a playoff spot will be no easy task.

Jacksonville Jaguars (7-9)

Besides having perennial Pro Bowl running back Maurice Jones-Drew coming out of the backfield, the Jacksonville Jaguars are a team in desperate need of some help on both sides of the football and this season will be another forgettable year as they will almost certainly finished dead last in their division once again. If you think the Jags have a shot at winning this division, make your NFL football betting early as they are currently at +1200 – so they are not expected to win much here.
