The Tim Tebow haters around the country and in the media are just waiting for the former Heisman trophy winner to fail and lose his second game as the Denver Broncos’ starting quarterback this season. Even though every single week people doubt this unorthodox quarterback out of Florida, Tebow continues to prove that he can play the quarterback position in the NFL and lead the Broncos to victory on any given Sunday.
In Week 13, the Denver Broncos went on the road to face off against the banged up Minnesota Vikings. Even without superstar running back Adrian Peterson coming out of the backfield, the Vikings had been favored to come out on top in this matchup and get their third win of the season. Despite four straight wins with Tebow under center, the Broncos weren’t really given the chance to get another win and put more pressure on the first-place Oakland Raiders in the AFC West division.
Fortunately for the Broncos, Tim Tebow put on another show in Week 13 as he was able to lead Denver to a fifth straight win and a first place tie with the Oakland Raiders. Tebow had arguably his best performance through the air last Sunday with 202 passing yards and two passing touchdowns. With 10 completions on 15 pass attempts, Tebow finally started to look sharp under center and finished the game with an impressive 149.3 passer rating.
Along with Tim Tebow getting going in the passing game, running back Willis McGahee had another solid game on the ground with 111 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown. Second-year wide receiver also had a breakout performance as Tebow’s favorite target against the Vikings with 144 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns on four receptions in the 35-32 win over Minnesota.

Tebow stinks. I mean, he’s only won 5 in a row (first time since Elway played in Denver). The guy is a winner, period. I’m a Falcons fan and would take Tebow as our QB in a second.
