Spanish League La Liga 2023-24 Begins With Barcelona & Real Madrid's Candidates

A new Spanish League campaign featuring Barcelona and Real Madrid gets underway.

Launched is the next season of LaLiga de Espaa 2023–24, which will once more feature Real Madrid and Barcelona, the previous champions. On the Star+ screen, the first date will be the weekend of August 11, 12, and 13.

The culé team, which Xavi Hernández ordered to be rearmed after firing Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba at the conclusion of the previous season, joined forces with Leo Messi at Inter Miami today.

The renowned talent from Manchester City, Ilkay Gündogan, came at the summer market. Along with them came the seasoned Iigo Martnez, the bright-eyed Oriol Romeu, and the fiery Vitor Roque, who would only arrive from Athletic Paranaense in January. Sergio Dest, Lenglet, and Abde also joined after returning from their duties.

Busquets, Alba, Samuel Umtiti, Pablo Torre, Lex Collado, Chadi Riad, Nico González, and Julian Araujo all left after them.

Additionally, there is still uncertainty at the club due to rumours that Neymar is interested in returning and that Ousmané Dembelé may move to Paris Saint-Germain.

The arrivals of Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund and Arda Güler, who hails from Fenerbahce, stand out for Real Madrid.

While Brahim Daz and Antonio Blanco were returning from their loans, Fran Garca and Joselu also entered the White House. From Castilla, Rafa Marn received a promotion.

Merengue will be a refreshed squad in the event of losses, particularly in light of the departures of famous Karim Benzema to Ittihad and Marco Asensio to PSG. The starting lineup now includes Mariano Dáz, Eden Hazard, Jess Vallejo, Rafa Marn, and Antonio Blanco.

What about the remaining items? In addition to the two La Liga legends, Atlético Madrid astonished everyone by bringing in two vital defenders in César Azpilicueta from Chelsea and Caglar Söyüncü from relegated Leicester.

Alexander Srloth, a colleague of Erling Haaland’s on the Norwegian national team, was signed by Villarreal instead. And Girona bet on the dependable Daley Blind to keep them out of the bottom two spots.
