This past Thursday, the NBA was looking forward to what would be arguably the best game of the playoffs so far with the defending NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers taking on the Phoenix Suns in game five of the Western Conference Finals.
The highly anticipated battle between Kobe Bryant’s Lakers and Steve Nash’s Suns turned out to be arguably the most entertaining game of the postseason thus far, but earlier in the day, Dwyane Wade announced that the he would meet with some of the big name free agents to discuss who is going where and possibly teaming up with some of these players.
Amongst the big name free agents meeting with Dwyane Wade to discuss the future is Joe Johnson of the Atlanta Hawks and most notably LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Three free agents alone will have big impact on the look of the NBA next season and for the foreseeable future, but the plot has started to thicken even more after learning that the Toronto Raptors All-Star forward Chris Bosh will also be involved in this free agent summit of superstars.
Ever since the Raptors were knocked out of playoff contention late in the NBA regular season, the future of Chris Bosh has been very uncertain as it seems more and more unlikely that he will re-sign with the only NBA franchise he has played for since be drafted back in 2003.
Personally, I believe that if Bosh wants a chance to win an NBA title he must leave Toronto as this might be the only chance he has to get on a title contending team like the Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks (with the addition of LeBron James) or Miami Heat (with Dwyane Wade).
