Would you turn down your opportunity to play with Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh, and LeBron James if you had the chance?  Probably not.  Neither would Eddie House – one of the best free agent shooters still left on the free agent market…or at least he was.

Thursday, House’s agent, Mark Bartelstein, released a statement that House has agreed to rejoin the Miami Heat.  The contract will be for two years, with the second year of the contract being a player option, and worth almost $3 million, which isn’t as rewarding as other offers he had received but the other offers also couldn’t match one of the NBA’s best trio – Bosh, Wade, and James.

The guard has proven that he is a top-notch shooter in his previous years with the Miami Heat, who drafted him out of Arizona State in the second round of the 2000 NBA Draft.  The 32-year-old played with the Heat for three seasons at which time he left the Heat to move to the Boston Celtics and was part of the 2009-2009 championship team.  Last season, House was traded to the New York Knicks from Boston and recorded an average of 7.0 points per game in his 68 appearances.

House has recorded 7.6 points per game and has a 39% shooting from the three-point range for his career.  The guard is also known for his clutch shooting.  The guard has been part of the NBA for 10 years and has played with nine different NBA teams during those ten years in the NBA.

Adding House to the Heat team moves their roster up to 16 players with 14 contracts that are guaranteed for the upcoming season.  They can have 20 players through training camp and the preseason; however, the league requires that teams cut that roster down to a maximum of 15 players when the season begins.
