This time last season, the Los Angeles Clippers were a bottom feeder in the Western Conference once again as they saw their number overall pick in forward Blake Griffin go down with a season-ending knee injury and seemed to have little hope for the future. This season the tables have definitely turned as the Clippers are relevant once again with Griffin back healthy and arguably the most promising young superstar in this league.

Not only is Griffin without a doubt this season’s Rookie of the Year, but he has quickly turned into one of the best forwards in the league. Along with the distinction as being the most entertaining player in the league right now, but he has been rewarded with his solid play by getting the nod for the 2011 NBA All-Star Game. This should be some great NBA betting action.

Unfortunately, the Los Angeles Clippers will come into the Big Apple on Wednesday night after losing to the Orlando Magic just a night before. Even though the Clippers were hanging tough with Dwight Howard and company, the Magic were able to come out with the win.

On Wednesday night, the Clippers will have their work cut out for them once in the paint as they will have to face arguably one of the best post players in the game in forward/center Amare Stoudemire. Along with Stoudemire in the frontcourt, the Knicks also will be dangerous in the backcourt with point guard Raymond Felton running the offense.

This game will most likely be close throughout the majority of the game with the Clippers and the Knicks going back and forth, but I believe New York just has the better all around basketball team right now and should come out with the win.
