LAMAR JACKSON Dominates The LIONS

Using a phony handoff, Lamar Jackson tricked the whole Detroit Lions defense.

Jackson scored the game's first touchdown by sprinting around the left edge unopposed while several offensive linemen blocked his path to the right.

The game began with a seven-play, 75-yard drive that ended with the touchdown.

At M&T Bank Stadium, it set the tone for what turned out to be a crushing defeat. The Lions' worst loss since 2021 came from a 38-6 setback.

Based on their performance on Sunday, these are the grades for each position group.

The Lions' offense was unable to establish a consistent rhythm, as Jared Goff was held without a throwing touchdown for the first time since the season finale in 2022.

Detroit's three-and-outs on its opening three possessions set the tone early.

Goff gained 284 yards and one interception on 33 of 53 completions. Even though the offense turned the ball over on downs several times

the offensive flow was much better in the second half. Moreover, Goff completed a fourth-down heave with a pick.
