Pelicans Hold On To Win Over Nuggets

Late-game heroics from Williamson and Ingram help the Pelicans defeat the Nuggets 115-110.

Stars from New Orleans, Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram, not only helped Denver fall behind by 20 points

but also made a late comeback to prevent Nikola Jokic and company from pulling even.

With 4:01 remaining in the game, Denver had closed the gap to one point, but Williamson scored 26 points

Ingram scored 21, and the Pelicans hung on for a 115-110 victory over the Nuggets on Friday night.

Regarding the reigning NBA champs, Ingram stated, "We know who we're playing."

"We had to maintain our composure, even though we didn't want it to get to that point."

During a late 8-0 run that saw Williamson and Ingram each score twice, the Pelicans managed to hold on after in the last 30 seconds

Aaron Gordon, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, and Reggie Jackson all missed 3-pointers that would have tied the game.
