Syracuse Football Falls To Virginia Tech
Football at Syracuse fell to 4-4 after a 38-10 loss to Virginia Tech.
Thursday night, Bhayshul Tuten ran for 118 yards and a touchdown to help Virginia Tech defeat Syracuse 38-10.
The Hokies won for the third time in four games and set season highs in rushing yards (318)
and total yards (528) thanks to runs of 87 yards from Malachi Thomas and 65 yards from quarterback Kyron Drones.
"Our kids are amazing, and they are surrounded by wonderful people," said Brent Pry, the coach at Virginia Tech.
"They're constantly improving, and that's what you should do throughout a season — get better.
That's something we've accomplished, even though it wasn't reflected in the win-loss column.
In a few key areas, we've improved every week. Our locker room has a positive culture, and we must continue to develop it.
Virginia Tech scored on its first six drives and never looked back.
