Added August 23rd, 2010 by James

The Minnesota Vikings are no strangers to being in the headlines and over the past month they have frequently been surrounded by the sports media with the Brett Favre saga ongoing and wide receiver Percy Harvin collapsing during a practice.

Fortunately, the Vikings got some really good news last week by learning that their three-time NFL MVP quarterback Brett Favre would return for one more season, but just a day later saw Percy Harvin leave the practice field in an ambulance due to collapsing as a result of a severe migraine. The Atlanta Thrashers announced Monday they have re-signed free agent Bryan Little to a three-year contract.  The contract is reportedly worth just over $7 million.

The 22-year-old restricted free agent forward was drafted in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft during the first round as the 12th overall draft selection.  During his first season with the Thrashers, Little appeared in 48 games in which he totaled 6 goals and 10 assists for 16 points.  Last season, he recorded only 13 goals and 21 assists for 34 points in 79 total games after recording 31 goals and 20 assists for 51 points during his first complete 79-game NHL season, which was the 2008-2009 season.   Continue Reading…

Albert Haynesworth Reportedly Had Rhabdomyolysis
Added August 23rd, 2010 by Stacy

It took several attempts for Albert Haynesworth to finally pass his conditioning test so that he could begin practicing with the Washington Redskins.  Many even so much as believed that when he passed it, he really didn’t.
