Little trade interest in according to Danny Ainge as he looks to make new deals for Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen
Added March 10th, 2012 by Ryan

Over the past half-decade or so, the Boston Celtics has been arguably one of the dominant forces in the NBA. With Celtics GM Danny Ainge pulling out all the stops and acquiring Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen to play alongside Paul Pierce and rookie point guard Rajon Rondo, Boston were able to turn back the clock and become a perennial NBA title contender. Josh Smith has reportedly asked to be traded by the Atlanta Hawks
Added March 10th, 2012 by James

The NBA trade rumors are really going to start to ramp up this in the coming days with the NBA trade deadline less than a week away. After March 15, big-name players around the league like Dwight Howard (Orlando Magic), Pau Gasol (Los Angeles Lakers), Deron Williams (New Jersey Nets) and Monta Ellis (Golden State Warriors) might be playing elsewhere. Even though everyone will be waiting for the verdict on all these players, a new big-name has been added to the mix in the Atlanta Hawks’ Josh Smith. Continue Reading…

Now that four-time NFL MVP quarterback Peyton Manning is officially a free agent and no longer affiliated with the Indianapolis Colts, teams all over the league are showing strong interest in signing the future Hall of Famer. The favorites to land Manning have already been named even before he left the Colts, but it appears that many more will get in the running to bring in the franchise quarterback.

The Seattle Seahawks, Miami Dolphins, Arizona Cardinals, Washington Redskins, Kansas City Chiefs, Denver Broncos and the New York Jets have already reached out to the perennial Pro Bowler with interest in signing the quarterback. Most of these teams have already been linked as a possible destination for Manning, but the Broncos are a bit of surprise considering their success with Tim Tebow last season.

Unfortunately, the NFC teams on the list like the Seahawks, Cardinals and Redskins might already be out of the running. Apparently, Manning wants to continue playing in the AFC Conference which definitely gives the edge to teams like the Jets, Dolphins, Chiefs and Broncos.

Peyton Manning has yet to say whether or not any team is a frontrunner for his services or which team he would like to play for next season, but he intends on finding a new team within a week. That statement makes things very interesting from here on out as all teams in the running will be doing everything within their power to lure in one of the best quarterbacks in NFL history.

Personally, I believe the New York Jets would be an ideal fit for the veteran quarterback. Mark Sanchez may still be the future of the franchise, but bringing in a proven veteran like Manning would improve this offense considerably. Not only would the offense be dominant, but the defense is already one of the best in the league and something that Manning might consider before signing.

With the NBA trade deadline just a week away (March 15), the NBA trade rumors are starting to heat up around the league. One of the teams that have been surrounded by trade speculation and rumors as of late is the aging Boston Celtics. Now that the Big 3 of Ray Allen, Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett are reportedly on the trading block in Beantown, the consensus was that a lot of teams would be interested in acquiring one or more of the future Hall of Famers.

Unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case for Celtics GM Danny Ainge as the Big 3 of Boston has gotten little interest thus far. All-Star point guard Rajon Rondo has gotten quite a bit of interest around the league from teams like the arch rival Los Angeles Lakers, but KG, Pierce and Allen may remain Celtics after the NBA trade deadline.

This may ultimately be the best move for the Boston Celtics as keeping the Big 3 might give them a chance to compete for a deep run in the playoffs. There is no telling just how much gas is left in the tank for this once Eastern Conference powerhouse, but the talent is still there that can help this team compete with the best of the best in the NBA.

If there were to be a blockbuster trade in the works and one player were to be headed out of Boston before the trade deadline it would almost certainly be Rajon Rondo at this point. With Rondo having the most valuable and getting the most interest around the league, there is no question that the Celtics will get calls all the way up to and on March 15.

The temptation might be too great for Celtics GM Danny Ainge to pull the trigger on a deal that brings some young talent in return.

Ever since the retirement of Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly, the Buffalo Bills have been one of the worst teams in the NFL with little hope for the future. It seems that no matter what the Bills do to improve their squad, this struggling NFL franchise can’t seem to bring in the talent they need to compete with the New England Patriots and the New York Jets in the AFC East division.
