San Diego Chargers vs Oakland Raiders Sun. Oct. 10th 4:15pm EST

There are very few division rivalries that can stand the test of time, but the Oakland Raiders and San Diego Chargers are one of those AFC West division rivalries that are filled with passionate hatred between two teams that just want to kill each other no matter what is on the line.

With that being said, this Sunday’s AFC West showdown between the Chargers and the Raiders promises to be an entertaining one as both teams are struggling right now and fighting for an opportunity to get back to the top of the division. Continue Reading…

Denver Broncos vs Baltimore Ravens Sun. Oct. 10th 1pm EST

The Baltimore Ravens came into this NFL regular season with a revamped offense and high hopes to come out on top in the AFC North division for the first time since 2006, but even though they may very well come out on top in the division, the competition hasn’t much better in the AFC North with the Cincinnati Bengals and the Pittsburgh Steelers looking like legitimate threats to win the division.

Coming into Week 5, the Baltimore Ravens are on a bit of a hot streak as they have beaten two AFC North division opponents in a row with a win over the Cleveland Browns (24-17) in Week 3 followed up by a win over the division leading Pittsburgh Steelers (17-14) last week. We are excited about this week’s NFL football betting action for sure.

Obviously, the Ravens were favored to beat the Browns in Week 3, but they beat the odds last week when they got the best of Steelers. With this win Joe Flacco and company were able to jump to the top spot in the AFC North, but they might have their work cut out for them in Week 5 against the Denver Broncos. Continue Reading…

New York Jets vs Buffalo Bills Sun. Oct. 3rd 1pm EST

The New York Jets and passionate head coach Rex Ryan came into this season with high hopes of competing for a Super Bowl title, but even though they struggled in Week 1 against Ryan’s former team in the Baltimore Ravens, especially on the offensive side of the football, the Jets have quickly rebounded with two solid wins over the New England Patriots and the Miami Dolphins.

With the two wins in the books in divisional play, the New York Jets just have the Buffalo Bills standing in their way moving forward, but unlike the fight that the Patriots and the Dolphins put up in the last two weeks, Week 4’s matchup against the lowly Bills should be a relatively easy one for Mark Sanchez and company. We went with a trusted name in NFL football betting, Bodog, for this wager. Continue Reading…

Denver Broncos vs Tennessee Titans Sun. Oct. 3rd 1pm EST

The Denver Broncos and the Tennessee Titans are two teams with some promising young players, but still seem to be a few pieces of the puzzle away from being serious forces to be reckoned with in the AFC Conference. Even though these teams have already had some disappointing losses this season, they have played well collectively and could compete for a playoff spot later in the year, but they will need to get this win as it could turn out to be huge at season’s end.

Offensively these teams are pretty even in my opinion, but for different reasons as the Tennessee Titans are one of the best running teams in the league and the Denver Broncos have quickly turned into one of the best passing teams in the NFL. This is a great game for some NFL football betting. Continue Reading…

Green Bay Packers vs Chicago Bears Mon. Sept. 27th 8:30pm EST

The Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bears has always been a heated division rivalry as both teams literally hate each other, but even though many people didn’t think that Jay Cutler and company could give Aaron Rodgers squad a challenge heading into this NFL regular season, the Bears are coming off two consecutive wins and will be looking to give the Packers problems on both sides of the football. What a great week of NFL football betting.

This Monday Night Football matchup between two high-powered offenses and two lockdown defenses will be epic to say the least as both teams will be fighting for first place in the NFC North division. Continue Reading…

Atlanta Falcons vs New Orleans Saints Sun. Sept. 26th 1pm EST

The defending Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints have played pretty well thus far in the first two games of the NFL regular season as they have beaten the Minnesota Vikings and the San Francisco 49ers in consecutive weeks, but they will have their work cut out for them in Week 3 as they will be playing in a very crucial NFC South division battle against Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons.

Even though Drew Brees and company are favored to come out on top in the NFC South division once again this season, the Atlanta Falcons looked really good in their impressive win over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 2 as they were able to get their potent offense back on track by scoring 41 points and will be looking to do the same against the Saints this Sunday.

Obviously, the Saints defense will not be as easy to score on as the Cardinals defense was, but the defending champs have shown signs of weakness on both sides of the football this season and the Falcons will look to expose their flaws in this divisional showdown. The Saints have the edge here by odds makers with a spread of -3.5 by BetUs, one of the leading online sportsbooks. Continue Reading…

A couple of years ago, the AFC East showdown between the New York Jets and the New England Patriots wouldn’t have been much of a matchup at all as Tom Brady and company were by far the better team, but this season times have changed as the Jets have become a legitimate Super Bowl title contenders with arguably the best defense in the league coming into their head to head matchup with their division rivals.

Even though the Patriots aren’t exactly the dominant team of old, they did play really well in Week 1 by dominating the revamped Cincinnati Bengals with a 38-24 victory, but they will definitely have their work cut out for them in Week 2 against Darrelle Revis and the New York Jets defense as Rex Ryan’s squad will look to bounce from the Week 1 loss to the Baltimore Ravens with a win over their division rivals. Kansas City Chiefs vs Cleveland Browns Sun. Sept. 19th 1pm EST

Over the past few years, the Kansas City Chiefs have been nothing more than a joke in the NFL and almost guaranteed to finish in last place in the AFC West division, but this season they have already shown some signs of turning things around on both sides of the football after beating the Super Bowl title contending San Diego Chargers in Week 1 with a thrilling Monday Night Football victory 21-14.

Obviously, the Week 1 win over the Chargers could be just a fluke, but the way there is no doubting that Chiefs played extremely well on offense with a solid running game led by running back Jamaal Charles (92 rushing yards, one touchdown) and a 94-yard punt return for a touchdown by Dexter McCluster. Oakland Raiders @ Tennessee Titans Sun. Sept. 12th 1pm EST

Coming into the NFL regular season, the Oakland Raiders will be looking to finally get back into playoff contention in the AFC Conference, but they will have their work cut out for them in Week 1 against the up and coming Tennessee Titans.

As of today, the Raiders are 6 point underdogs according to the top online sportsbooks like Bookmaker.

Not only were the Tennessee Titans very impressive in the second half of the season last year after losing six straight games, but they saw arguably the best running back in the game emerge in Chris Johnson. With 2,006 rushing yards to his credit Johnson was on the verge of breaking some all-time records, but he fell just short.

This season the Pro Bowl running back will be aiming for 2,500 rushing yards and the NFL MVP as he tries to lead the Tennessee Titans back into the playoffs. Continue Reading…

Minnesota Vikings @ New Orleans Saints Thurs. Sept. 9th 8:30pm EST

Perhaps the most anticipated matchup to open the NFL regular season this year will be the defending Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints taking on Brett Favre and the Minnesota Vikings in a rematch of last season’s NFC championship game.

The odds on this game vary a little, but Bodog has the Saints favored by 6 points while Diamond Sportsbook, a leader in online sportsbooks has the Saints at -5, meaning favored by 5 points. Continue Reading…
