Minnesota Vikings @ Chicago Bears Sun. Nov. 14th 2010 1pm EST
This season has been somewhat of an up and down one for the Chicago Bears as at one point they were one of the few teams left undefeated in the NFL, but since then have struggled to play consistently well as their offensive line has slowly been torn to shreds by opposing defenses.
Coming into Week 10, Jay Cutler and company will be fresh off a bye week, but will be going up against the division rival and a very desperate team in the Minnesota Vikings. This is an interesting NFL betting matchup.
Even though the Vikings have failed to live up to expectations this season, Brett Favre is coming off one of the best games of his career as he threw for a career-high 446 yards in the comeback win against the Arizona Cardinals. With Favre looking like he is finally ready to start playing his old self once again, the rest of the NFC Conference could be in for a run for their money in the second half of the season.
The first test for Brett Favre and company after their impressive come from behind victory against the Cardinals will be whether or not they can contend with the lockdown defense of the Bears.
Despite not being able to get their offense going much in the last few weeks, the Chicago Bears defense has been about as good as it gets in the NFL this season and will look to prove that fact against the Minnesota Vikings.
As of right now, the Minnesota Vikings have the edge coming into this NFC North showdown with a -1 point spread in their favor.
Even though I believe that this game will most likely be an all out battle from start to finish, Brett Favre and company should come out on top and get their fourth win of the season.
