Detroit Lions @ Dallas Cowboys Sun. Nov. 21st 2010 1pm EST
The Dallas Cowboys were arguably the most talented team in the NFL coming into this regular season with high hopes of contending for a Super Bowl title, but unfortunately this season has been an absolute nightmare for Tony Romo and company as they will be coming into Week 11 with just two wins on the year.
Despite having a season that could be one of the worst in recent memory for America’s Team, the Dallas Cowboys are coming off an impressive victory against the division-leading New York Giants and will look to keep the momentum going this week against the up and coming Detroit Lions.
Even though the Cowboys seem to be on the track after replacing the recently fired Wade Phillips with offensive coordinator Jason Garrett, they will have their work cut out for them this week against the Lions as they are a team on the rise that has given some of the best teams in the league a run for their money.
As of right now, the Dallas Cowboys are favored to beat the Detroit Lions in Week 11 with a -6 point spread.
The one thing to take into account in this matchup is that the Lions are pretty banged up right now at quarterback as Matthew Stafford has gone down with yet another shoulder injury and will be watching from the sidelines as Shaun Hill takes over under center.
With that being said, the potent Lions offense won’t be playing at the level they are used to and as a result could be in for a long day against the Cowboys defense.
The Dallas Cowboys may be without their starting quarterback as well as Tony Romo is still out with a broken clavicle, but Jon Kitna has stepped up in his absence and should lead his team to a second straight win while covering the spread.
