Kansas City Chiefs vs Oakland Raiders Sun. Nov. 7th 2010 4:15pm EST
For the first time in a long time the AFC West division is anyone’s division to win as the Kansas City Chiefs (5-2), Oakland Raiders (4-4) and the San Diego Chargers (3-5) are all in contention to head into the playoffs with an AFC West division title to their credit. The Denver Broncos (2-6) have an outside chance of getting back into the mix, but with the recent loss to the Raiders (59-14) not many people are considering them a force to be reckoned with.
Coming into Week 9, the first place Kansas City Chiefs and the second place Oakland Raiders will go head to head in an AFC West showdown that could ultimately determine which team will come out on top in the division. This is an interesting NFL football betting matchup as the raiders have had a couple good weeks and look to have a decent running game going on.
The Chiefs have proven this season that they are for real as they have played extremely well in their first seven games and could be the team to beat in the AFC West division from here on out. Even though Kansas City has become a force to be reckoned with this season, Oakland has as well with some hardnosed defense and a resurgent offense.
This AFC West showdown will be a battle from start to finish as these two teams are two of the best running teams in the league right now with the two-headed monster of Thomas Jones and Jamaal Charles for the Chiefs and Darren McFadden for the Raiders.
As of right now, the Oakland Raiders have been given the edge in this one as Jason Campbell and company are favored to win this AFC West divisional matchup with a -3 point spread.
Even though I believe this will be a very close game between these two teams, the Oakland Raiders should come out on top as they are red hot right now and know how important this game is moving forward.
